R&B / Hip Hop Night - DJ First Rate - 10pm to 1am
Paul Bruce a.k.a. DJ First Rate first got introduced into scratching in 1984 and spent the next five years in his room scratching for up to 5 hours a day. His first English battle was with Cut Master swift, Pogo and DJ Business, alongside the Southeast mixing championship. Things began to happen and DJ First Rate then joined a crew called Scratch Perverts, which lead them and him to win numerous titles through out the world. To the dismay of many Scratch Pervert fans they broke up and First Rate joined up with Morcheeba on their Big Calm tour performing in front of 35,000 people supporting Iggy Pop, Nina Cherry, and Republica.
He is now currently touring with Blade of Mark B and Blade. Since His break from Scratch Perverts, First Rate has released two Battle Weapons, Laying Cables and Doin Da Dishes, which can be purchased on second to none records. Indie Classic Night with The Fool Fighters
Plus Indie Rock DJ
The Fool Fighters were formed late in 2007 and have fast become what is definitely the best sound-alike/lookalike Foo Fighters Tribute act in the UK.
Bought together by the love of the music of the Foos, the Fool Fighters have continued creating a buzz and gained notoriety based on the sheer pedigree of the musicians involved.
The band do play all of the singles, but rather than playing the songs exactly like the record, they do all the same extra bits and nuances, including sing-along parts, added by the Foos when performing them live, thus creating a true Foo Fighters live experience. The guys pride themselves on the accuracy of their sound, and the super-tightness of their set. |

Fuelers Bar Daytime (Friday)
Humphrey Milles
Humphrey Milles has jostled for his place in the UK music scene for a few years – having previously shared the stage with the late Amy Winehouse, KT Tunstall, Snow Patrol and the talented, Mercury nominated Ed Harcourt – then followed a turbulent period, with a soured record deal and an important relationship break-up, but Humphrey is now back, and back with a vengeance.
These tough few years, combined with a surfing and writing sabbatical in Costa Rica, have resulted in the birth of an Ed Harcourt produced album of sheer beauty, raw pain and elegance, with poignant, heartfelt and thought provoking lyrics.

Khorosho
A bunch of likeminded "musicians" decided that Sunday evenings would be better spent playing songs than watching Call the Midwives. Very early on in this process, the guys discovered that they could play a little bit and thought they should inflict their musical stylings on the people of England.
If you think of artists such as Foo Fighters, The Offspring, Paul Weller, The Beastie Boys, The Who and wrap them up into one amazing live act, then imagine a cover band of this super group. Now visualize a rival cover band of the first cover band who are maybe not quite as talented. We give you Khorosho.
